Michelle and Nick planned for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony followed by photos on Cross Lake. In the week leading up to the big day, I was watching the forecast like a hawk. It's not that pictures can't be taken in the rain, in fact they can be quite stunning. I don't, however, know of any couple who actually wants it to rain on their wedding day. The closer it got, it was looking better and better, but as I drove to the venue late that afternoon, it was coming down so hard I couldn't even see the road in front of me. I was nervous and when I got there I could tell that Michelle was too. Then, with 20 minutes before showtime, like some unexpected miracle, the skies parted. The sun came out in full force and everything was just glistening and breathtaking. The rest of the day went off without a hitch. (except the obvious one)<--See what I did there? Lol I want to say thank you so much to this beautiful couple for asking me to be the one to record your day. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek and that you cherish these images forever! Getting Ready.
