I have worked with the witty and very talent Sarah Wiley Joyce from SRW Joyce Photography a few times now, but in the past I was always the primary and I hired her as my second shooter. This time the roles were reversed. I had never been a second shooter before and I can't tell you how relaxing it is, lol. It felt good to have less pressure for once and be able to play and be artistic in the moment. And we both had a great time with this über fun family! Here are just a few my shots from this special day...
Congrats Wendy and Taylor! Thank you for letting us be a part of your beautiful day. I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!
The night before Jessica and David's wedding I got a message from my second shooter, the incredible Sarah Joyce from SRW Joyce Photography, asking if the wedding was still on...uh, huh, what?! That's when she showed me a video of a blazing wildfire 100 acres wide just across the canal from the wedding venue. I was slightly freaked out. The next day the fire was official contained...
and then came the rain. LOL
With all that out of the way I think it's safe to say that this couple can endure just about anything together. Congratulations you two (and sweet Juli)! Your day was stunning and I know your life will be as well.
Speaking of your lovely day, here is your sneak peek...

As I am editing the images from Donna and Scott's beautiful day, I come across one from their first dance. Donna is laughing with her head tilted back with Scott's arm wrapped around her, as all their friends and family are looking on. All I could think was how that image is a perfect representation of this couple. They are fun and easy-going and completely surrounded by love!
Not only was this wedding jam-packed with special little details everywhere you looked, but it was absolutely dripping with love and affection. These are the kind of people you want for friends, the kind of people you wish were your family.
I still feel so honored to have been included in this incredible day. I know I will forever think of this couple as friends, not just clients. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Popp. I am wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter and joy!
Now for a sneak peek of their day. . .
...and they danced happily ever after.
Special thanks to my second shooter Sheena Christ from Torrent Photography, who literally saved me from "death by folding chair", lol. I appreciate all your hard work and for catching me.

Mindy and Mike got married yesterday!
We braved the downpour and mud, and it was oh so lovely.
The rain was more romantic than it was a nuisance.
Doesn't love have a way of making everything better?!
Here's a sneak peek of their day...
It was a breathtaking day full of love and laughter.
Wishing you both a lifetime of the same!
Special thanks to my hilarious and uber talented second shooter,
Sarah Wiley Joyce of SRW Joyce Photography.
Together we told a beautiful story!
