How would you describe your style of shooting?

Let's just be real, having your picture taken can be awkward. I get it. That's why I never leave you without direction. I combine both what I call "authentic looking posing" with genuinely candid moments so your image feel just as real as you are.

I love artistic techniques such as freelensing, prisming, double exposures and other stylistic skills, but I always mix in plenty of traditional images as well.

Can I view an entire wedding gallery?

On my website I try to highlight special moments from each wedding day. Bear in mind, many weddings include well over 600 images. That would be overwhelming to feature on my site, however, if you are interested in booking a wedding and would like to see what a full wedding gallery looks like, I would be happy to send you a link. How do I book you?

Whoo hoo, let's do this!! To book with me you are required to sign a contract and put money down to hold your chosen date. I operate on a first come, first served basis.

Do You Own Your own studio?

My images are less studio backdrop and more organic and natural. I am an on-location photographer. Meaning I use nature as my backdrop. If you need session location ideas, click HERE. For newborns I will meet you in the comfort of your own home.

What should we wear for our photo session?

More than anything, I want you to feel comfortable. I love neutrals, color and patterns. Just be sure it's not a busy design. Florals and plaids are great. I feel strongly that bright neons should be avoided, as they cast color on the skin and can add to a dated feel over time. For families, coordinating is better than trying to match. Choose 3-4 complementary colors that you can tie into each person's outfit. If you click on my home page HERE, you can see examples of beautiful color palettes that some of my clients have chosen.

What if we need to reschedule?

The only thing predictable about CNY, is that you can never predict the weather. If you're from here you know, it can go from 75 degrees one day to a literal blizzard the next! Therefore, in the case of an emergency or extreme inclement weather, we will definitely reschedule. 

I will allow you to reschedule once for personal reasons, while carrying over your deposit to the new date. New booking date will depend on my availability.

How long will it take to receive my images?

I personally edit every image by hand. I do not send out for editing, nor do I batch edit, because I believe in attention to detail and making you look your absolute best in every image. For this reason, my current turn-around time for online galleries is two weeks. After you place a print order you can expect delivery within three weeks. Specialty items such as albums may take a bit longer.

Can we share our images on social media?

Ummm, heck yes you can! Sharing is caring, lol. I do have one small request. If you do share your images, please kindly credit my business. I know it's easy to get excited about your beautiful images and you may simply forget to tag me. However, my business depends on word-of-mouth. Without it, without you, I would never be successful. So yes, feel free to share your images and share the love by letting all your friends and family know exactly who captured these memories for you.

Do you travel for destination weddings or elopements? 

You betcha! I'm willing to go just about anywhere, my rates for travel vary by location. I would love to discuss all the details with you!
