Photography and Editing are two very different skill sets.
It's so important to find an artist
who is strong in both respects.
When I take an image,
I can already envision how I will edit it.
My business philosophy has always been
quality over quantity.
Instead of over-shooting with the objective
to fulfill some inflated number of files,
my focus is on making each image that I do produce,
frame-worthy.
While I do strive to nail images in-camera,
post-processing is a big part of my workflow.
Advanced retouching is what sets me apart.
Most studios charge extra for these kind of edits,
if they are able to do them at all.
Many times they are forced to charge more
because they have to hire the work out,
which can be costly.
I am 100% self-taught and do all photo retouching myself.
My editing is included in my pricing
and I take the same level of care for mini sessions
as I do for 10+ hour weddings.
My gallery delivery times are a bit longer than most
because I edit each and every image by hand.
That includes removing blemishes
and background distractions
and adding overlays or actions when it's called for.
