This photo shoot had to be rescheduled twice because of frigid temps.
I'm actually so glad it was. Today was absolutely beautiful. There was snow, but it was mild enough to enjoy. I had a fun day...I think they did too. :)

Just a simple 30 minutes in the morning and yet these images encompass so many of the things I love about her! She has ALWAYS had wild and crazy hair. Granted, this is an example of extreme bedhead as she had just woken up, but it's always loose and unruly. It's who she is, it's how she likes it. She has always wanted to be a big sister. We've never been able to give her that gift, but I get to see glimpses of just how great she would have been at it, when she cuddles him so sweetly. She sings him lullabies and mirrors the way I rub her back and I say "Mama knows" whenever I'm trying to soothe her. Thank you so much Journey to Artist for choosing me as one of the newest additions to this beautiful project! I'm looking forward to these small, quiet moments each month and sharing the journey with you all. >>> <<<
She's expecting and she's gorgeous! It was a little bit chilly, but no complaints from this Mama. Congrats you two!
Can't wait to meet that precious little girl!! Follow me on Facebook to see more from this session soon. >>> <<< Okay so I want to start out by saying that my prices are not increasing. I repeat, they are NOT increasing, haha! *Phew* However, I have spent a considerable amount of time and energy completely reworking my pricing model. Let me explain... Being a freelance photographer is similar to being a mechanic or a contractor in that the price is broken down to include the cost of labor (time and talent) and parts/materials (physical product). Therefore, when listing my pricing, I have always split the session fee and the cost of digital files, prints and other products. Although I tried to do this in a logical way, there always seemed to be some confusion, as not everyone would read the full description. Life is busy and I totally understand wanting to just see a price tag. So I have decided to keep it simple. On my INVESTMENT page you will now find one set price for each session. There are still several options depending on how many files you would like, but there is no separate session fee, it's all rolled into one. Of course prints, gallery wraps, albums, etc are still separate add-on items because they all come in such a large variety of sizes it would be impossible to include them in packages. I hope this new set-up is a lot easier to navigate and understand. I would love any feedback you have to offer. Thanks for all your support and trust, I truly value you all! -Xo, Paige >>> <<<
I absolutely love my new website! The only downside to the switch is that I lost all my old blog posts. So I am slowly re-blogging some of my previous content. Some of my favorite street photography I ever shot was from last year's clickinwalk right here in downtown Syracuse. So here they are, just in time for another clickinwalk this March! >>> <<<
The first month has come and gone. So far so good. Hopefully I can keep it up! |
