This was such a special photoshoot to me.
This woman is my oldest friend in the world.
We have so many memories together.
Having sleepovers at her house when I was only ten.
Practically living with her as a teenager.
I was there when she first started dating her husband Gregg
and she was there when I first started dating my husband Greg..
I was a bridesmaid in her wedding.
I held her son when he was just months old.
It feels so surreal that he will be graduating high school this year!

Donnetta is one of those people who makes friendship easy.
If we went an entire year without talking, she wouldn't be offended.
She wouldn't make me feel guilty.
She understands that life is just that way and each time we do see each other,
we just naturally pick up where we left off.
She has this beautiful way of
seeing the best in others and is always there when I really need her.
I can't express how grateful I feel to still have her in my life!

That moment when you realize you don't have to direct this kid at all.
So Jared is basically a model.
The whole session took about an hour from start to finish and he killed it in every pic.
Made my job super easy.

 Like a lot of teenage boys
Evan is not a fan of getting his photo taken.
He thought they were going to be lame.
Umm, I don't do lame, lol.

He's a BMX rider so we went to Onondaga Lake's skate park,
and the bike pictures ended up being my favorites.

Two weeks before Olivia and Troy's big day
I herniated my L5 disc in my back and with sciatica all down my right side,
I was completely immobile.
I couldn't walk, stand or even sit without excruciating pain.
(Not the kind of thing you want to hear about your wedding photographer)
That being said,
in my mind there wasn't even a question
​as to whether or not I was still going to shoot this wedding.
I knew that I was doing it, even if I was crawling the day of.
I am so glad that I did.
It would have been a shame to miss such a beautiful, emotion-filled day!
This wedding had so many touching moments.
It was brimming with love, laughter and genuine friendships!
Thank you Olivia and Troy for trusting me to capture it,
it was a true honor.
