I have had the opportunity to work with this wonderful family many times over the years, but I hadn't seen Nick in quite a while. It's crazy how fast time flies. I had a ton of fun shooting this session and given the fact that this kid basically looks like a young Superman the pics are pretty much straight up amazing. Here is his senior sneak peek... >>> <<<

I met Maggie and Adam via FaceTime, as I live in CNY and they live in Chicago. I got so excited when they told me their vision of their special day. The plan was a destination wedding right here in Syracuse. Their close friends own an incredible property south of the city and they would be hosting the celebration. I have to tell you how amazing it was to see it all come together. It was evident, in all the preparations, just how kind, gracious and loving this couple is. How they truly value their friendships and family members. They stated more than once, how they wanted all of them to be at the forefront of their day. And each person there had a share in helping to make it even more magical. From the ceremony procession through the woods with all the guests in tow, lead by a banjo playing friend. To the heartfelt words of affection spoken at the reception dinner, while guest lounged on colorful serapes and dined on wildflower adorned pallet tables. Each detail made this day extra special. And to top it off...there were pyrotechnics people!! I mean, does it get any better?! Huge thank you to Maggie and Adam for treating me more like a guest than a hired professional! Thank you, thank you for being so sweet and considerate. Thanks too to my second shooter Michelle Frederick Photography and my assistant Jamie Wheatley, who is always a lifesaver and has the best ring shot ideas, lol. And now for a sneak peek into the awesomeness... Location. Ceremony. Family. Bride and Groom Portraits. Reception. >>> <<<
Maggie and Adam's Rehearsal Dinner Sneak Peek | Beak and Skiff Apple Orchard | Lafayette NY7/18/2017 I was only at Maggie and Adam's rehearsal dinner for a little over an hour, but I took a gazillion pictures. It was a stunning evening filled with love and beautiful people! Here's just a small preview... Congratulations you two!!
Hope you're having an amazing honeymoon. Working on your wedding day sneak peek next... ...stay tuned. Michelle and Nick planned for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony followed by photos on Cross Lake. In the week leading up to the big day, I was watching the forecast like a hawk. It's not that pictures can't be taken in the rain, in fact they can be quite stunning. I don't, however, know of any couple who actually wants it to rain on their wedding day. The closer it got, it was looking better and better, but as I drove to the venue late that afternoon, it was coming down so hard I couldn't even see the road in front of me. I was nervous and when I got there I could tell that Michelle was too. Then, with 20 minutes before showtime, like some unexpected miracle, the skies parted. The sun came out in full force and everything was just glistening and breathtaking. The rest of the day went off without a hitch. (except the obvious one)<--See what I did there? Lol I want to say thank you so much to this beautiful couple for asking me to be the one to record your day. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek and that you cherish these images forever! Getting Ready.
