Rachel & Isaac were going for a 1930's old Hollywood vibe. Well, mission accomplished! The ninety year old gold laden Landmark Theater in downtown Syracuse was the perfect setting. And all the details came together flawlessly. The antique car, the feather bouquet, the bombshell bride! So glam. Congratulations to the happy couple! Now it's time for your sneak peek... Thank you Katie & Jared for choosing such a cool venue for your wedding. And thank you for allowing me to capture it all. It was easy to make your day look beautiful because you really made me believe in your love story! Congratulations! I hope your love is always as strong as it is now. I am rooting for you both. <---get it?!! LOL **Special thanks to Bill Ryan from NBT Bank Stadium. He literally kept the wheels from falling off all day. And to General Manager Jason Smorol who accommodated nearly every request the couple made. I highly recommend this venue. And now here's a first look at Katie and Jared's game day... Getting Ready. Dakotah and Matt were so much fun and we had a beautiful evening at one of my favorite locations. Right off the bat, Dakotah said she preferred traditional images. No double exposures or prisming. It's definitely a challenge for me to rein in my super artsy nature, but I think I pulled it off. Of course, I did have to throw in one silly one at the end, but they were great sports about it. They leaned right into it. ;) Congrats on your engagement you two. I hope you enjoy these images for a lifetime! To book your own couples/engagement session, contact me HERE. That is my favorite kind of session. Just walking along and chatting... stopping to shoot when we see something inspiring. On this particular evening we just happened along some graffiti with her graduation year. Serendipity. Here's a small look at Kate's senior session. There were so many great ones, it was hard choosing which ones to show as a preview. Hope you enjoy some of my faves! >>> <<<
F R O G P O N D W E D D I N G | S K A N E A T E L E S N Y Yesterday, on a scorching hot June day, at a beautiful location, a beautiful couple, vowed to love each other forever. And I was honored to be the one to capture it all. Arron and Rich are so much fun and down to earth. I really enjoyed being a part of their special day! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Wright I wish you a lifetime of laughter and joy! Here's just a small peek at your images... When these two lovebirds contacted me this past winter and told me all about their plan to get married in the stadium I was like heck yeah! We decided to shoot their e-session there as well. So we could check the place out and so their images will fit seamlessly with the theme of their wedding day. Here's just a portion of their gorgeous engagement images... (I don't know but I think they kind of like each other) ;) Hannah and Tim are getting married y'all!! And aren't they the cutest couple in like the history of ever?! That's actually not a question. They are. Here's their engagement session sneak peek... I can't believe it has been five years since I last photographed this fun family! The kids have grown so much. It's so nice to reconnect and work with familiar people over the years. I feel so invested in all your stories! I hope I told this one well... ...here's your sneak peek. The last time this sweet little girl had a milk bath she was still in her Mama's tummy. It is so crazy and bittersweet the way time passes so swiftly. Here she is, one year already. Joyful Ella with the biggest blue eyes! >>> R O A D T R I P <<< I love traveling and shooting at new locations! Michelle and Seth were on a weekend getaway in Cooperstown, NY. We met up at the Baseball Hall of Fame and Ommegang Brewery to capture their engagement. There is so much interesting and beautiful architecture in this village. Add in a couple in love, and you get some pretty incredible results. Congrats to this lovely couple! Thanks for pushing through the bitter temperatures (in late April!!) to make some unforgettable memories with me. Charlie has a terminal brain tumor called DIPG. But that's not who Charlie is. Charlie is warm and funny. He's a son, a brother and a boyfriend. He loves to make silly faces and he's super artistic! He loves his dogs and he is surrounded by love. He is an optimist and he is inspiring. Charlie is living. That is probably the truest sentence I have ever typed. I feel honored just knowing this amazing human. I hope I was able to capture even a fraction of who he truly is. In the words of Charlie..."stop and smell the roses, because you never know, tomorrow those roses might be gone forever." DIPG or Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma,
like all childhood cancers, is grossly underfunded. Only 4% of all cancer research funds goes toward childhood cancer as a whole, with just 1% of that going towards DIPG. Adult cancer research gets 96% of the funds simply because it's a money maker for the medical industry. If you would like to contribute towards childhood cancer research, please do your due diligence to find a reputable organization. There are many fraudulent websites out there using sick children to scam people out of money. To help you get started, here are a couple great organizations you can support. You're just as alert and calm as your big sister was for her newborn session. Congratulations to the whole fam!! I can't wait to watch them grow! It may have been frigid outside today,
but inside, the light was warm and dreamy! Mama is a hairdresser, so we shot at the salon where she works. It's another girl and I think we can clearly surmise from these images it's going to be another beauty! Daddy's going to have to carry a big stick to beat off all the boys someday. Congrats Lessun family, can't wait to meet her!! Once in a while you come across people you just click with.
These are those kind of people! From day one Tracy and I have felt like long lost friends. We just get each other. I absolutely adore this couple and am over the moon excited to share in their newest addition. Meet lovely baby Sloan. Believe me when I say, you are beyond blessed little one! I love the way these images sum up everything that is Jaylin. Part woodland fairytale princess - part angsty emo teenager. I have to admit, for me, it's hard to see her as anything other than a six year old little girl that would dance around my livingroom and get so excited about scavenger hunts at the duck pond. JayJay cocoa bean, you have really grown into a beautiful young woman! Here's your sneak peek. I hope you love these photos. <3 >>> <<<
There is absolutely no doubt that posed newborn images take a lot of time and talent to pull off successfully. However, in my humble opinion, there is nothing as simple and pure as newborn lifestyle images. I just love seeing a baby just as they are, tiny and new. No props, no fuss, just love, here's baby Connor... To book your own newborn lifestyle session, contact me HERE Newborn Lifestyle Pricing can be found HERE >>> <<<
I spent a perfect evening at Inner Harbor in Syracuse shooting Tracy and Charley's maternity session. I love these two humans so much and I'm so excited to meet their baby girl this December. Here's a first look at their gorgeous session. . . >>> <<<
Talk about a perfect baby!! Tiny Bexley slept for over 4 hours and countless outfit changes. And if that wasn't enough to make her an absolute dream, she kept smiling throughout the entire session. Here's a small sneak peek at this sweet little nugget... >>> <<<
Cancer does not discriminate. Sweet Emilia was just 2.5 years old when she was diagnosed with ALL. Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia is the most common type of cancer in children. Despite her diagnosis and many treatments, Emilia remains an absolute joy. Full of energy and childhood curiosity, working with her and her family was a pleasure. Looking at these images, you can really feel the bond of love that holds them all together, especially that between her and her beautiful sister Avery. Juvenile cancers are the most grossly underfunded of all cancers, receiving just 4% of total cancer research funding. Being a volunteer for The Gold Hope Project has allowed me to meet some of the most courageous and inspiring young people. These kids are fighters, they have their whole lives ahead of them. They deserve SO much more than 4%!! I highly encourage you to support this wonderful organization and to contribute in any way you can! Web | Facebook | Instagram >>> <<<
